Website Streamlines Navigation and Expands Access to Small Business Resources
Every Company Counts (ECC), the small business initiative of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC), today announced the launch of its redesigned and streamlined website —EveryCompanyCounts.com.
EveryCompanyCounts.com provides a place where Rhode Island’s small business community can learn from each other and grow their business by tapping into Rhode Island’s collective knowledge in four primary ways: 1) Articles and publications - written by Rhode Island business professionals for Rhode Island’s small business community; 2) Business resources - an interactive tool to find public/non-profit business resources in Rhode Island; 3) Learning events - a link to upcoming events of interest throughout the state; and 4) Blog - a forum for business owners to learn about upcoming or past events and voice their opinions and ideas related to our state’s economy.
“Rhode Island’s small business community is the heart of Rhode Island’s economy,” says J. Michael Saul, interim executive director of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation. “Small businesses create new jobs and bring dynamic ideas, services and new products to the marketplace. Making sure that our small businesses have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed through the program’s newly designed website is one of the most important things we can do to support economic growth for the small business community.”
Every Company Counts has been Rhode Island’s small business connection since 2004 bringing the small business community the tools and resources that they need to survive in any economy. Each year thousands of Rhode Island’s small businesses rely on Every Company Counts for timely information to help them grow and become competitive.

Our new web site is designed to serve as a one-stop resource for an increasingly complex, dynamic and multi-lingual business user by offering easy access to a vast amount of small business specific resources and information.”
ECC re-launched its website following a strategic in-house redesign of the site to make the initiative’s programs and services more accessible to users. The website is available in English and Spanish. The Spanish version of EveryCompanyCounts.com is not a translation of the English site but a source of information specifically about and for Spanish-speaking business owners.
