Every Company Counts, RIEDC’s small business initiative, to host a series of educational workshops for Rhode Island’s small business community
The Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC) announced it will a host series of five seminars in December designed to help Rhode Island’s small businesses survive and thrive in tough economic times — RIEDC’s Small Business Survival Series. The workshops will be held at the RIEDC’s Providence offices located at 555 Valley St., Providence and are free to the public.
“Rhode Island’s small business community is the heart of Rhode Island’s economy,” says Saul Kaplan, executive director of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation. “Small businesses create new jobs and bring dynamic ideas, innovative services and new products to the marketplace. But the community is struggling to thrive in these tough economic times. Making sure that our small businesses have the resources they need to succeed, such as the Small Business Survival Series, is one of the most important things we can do to promote economic growth for the small business community.”
