Jean Burritt Robertson served as the Director of Research and Development at EDC since 1999. Currently, as Senior Director, Policy & Research , she assists businesses with policy formulation, tax studies and analysis, and legislative relations. She has over twenty years of experience analyzing urban business, housing and development issues. Robertson has published in numerous professional journals including Studies in Comparative International Development and served as a Citizen Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China in 1996. Robertson holds an advanced degree from Brown University where her research and publications concentrated on studies of the energy industry and the relationship between industry sectors and government in the formation of taxation policy, and is a member of the Manufacturer's Summit and their subcommittee on innovation.
